With around 20 cyclists on board, our first TRELOCK Community Ride took participants on a unique evening ride through the Münsterland. Before heading out on the road, former professional cyclist Fabian Wegmann shared valuable insights from his years of racing experience. From improving visibility and riding safely in low-light conditions to practical tips for confident group riding, his advice provided the perfect preparation for the evening ride ahead.

Before heading out, we gave participants an in-depth introduction to the new Lighthammer 100 USB Set. From key features and technical highlights to flexible mounting options, riders had the chance to explore the product and ask questions before putting it to the test on the road.

GETTING READY TO RIDE
The next step was putting the product into action. Each participant received their own Lighthammer 100 USB Set and mounted it directly to their bike. Fully equipped and ready to ride, everyone had the opportunity to experience the lighting set firsthand and put its performance to the test on the road.

HITTING THE ROAD
We set off while it was still daylight, but over the course of the roughly 60-kilometre route through the Münsterland, conditions gradually changed. The ride took us from golden evening light through dusk and into darkness.
It was the perfect opportunity to experience the Lighthammer 100 USB Set in real-world conditions. The rear light’s intelligent brake light function proved especially valuable, enhancing visibility within the group and demonstrating how smart lighting can contribute to greater safety on the road.
But the ride was about more than just testing a new product. Great conversations, new connections and a shared passion for cycling turned the evening into a memorable community experience.

WRAPPING UP TOGETHER
Back where the ride began, we rounded off the evening together. Over cold drinks, riders had the chance to share their experiences, talk about the route and reflect on the ride in a relaxed atmosphere.
More than just a chance to recover after the ride, it was the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow cyclists, exchange stories and celebrate a great evening on the road.

READY FOR THE Münsterland Giro
As a special extra, each participant received a goodie bag filled with useful products and practical essentials for the upcoming Münsterland Giro, helping them get ready for race day.
