Security Level Choose your lock
levels for all needs
TRELOCK has developed its security level system based on material characteristics, tests and built-in security technology. This is designed to help cyclists find the right lock for their needs. Level 1 stands for “basic security” and Level 18 for “highest security”.
Basic Security
Level 1-6
We recommend to use bike locks with a security level from 1 to 6 in low risk areas, quick stops or as an additional security to your main lock for mid-value bikes. Securing components (e.g. helmets) is another use case for these security levels.
Medium Security
Level 7-12
Locks with this security levels offer security during the day for mid-value bikes or additional security for high-value bikes and e-bikes.
high Security
Level 13-18
High security locks offer security during day and night even in high risk areas. We recommend to use this locks for high-value bikes and e-bikes. For even more protection use two locks to secure your bike and components at its best.
